Ministry Mission

The mission of THE HEALING CENTER MINISTRIES, INC. is to build GOD’S KINGDOM and address spiritual, emotional, mental and social needs of people through the preaching and teaching of the WORD OF GOD. It is our aim to utilize counseling and various other ministries designed to enhance the lives of people of all ages.

Mission Vision

THE HEALING CENTER MINISTRIES, INC. envisions a world in which individuals and families from all walks of life will be able to live the abundant life through a revived spirit, renewed mind and restored body. Every individual will be provided an opportunity to be made whole: spirit, soul and body, utilizing principles made available because of the individual’s discipline and submission to a lifestyle change.

History of the Healing Center

August 26, 1986: GREATER FELLOWSHIP FAITH TABERNACLE, BOLIVAR, TENNESSEE Organized
June 3, 1986: FIRST City-Wide Healing For Damaged Emotions Conference (Best Western Hotel, Memphis, TN)
August 17, 1991: The Healing Center Full Gospel Baptist Church, 3900 Tchulahoma Rd., Memphis, TN Organized
July, 1995: Greater Fellowship Ministries, Inc., Obtained 501-C-3 Status
August, 1995: Heavenly Touch Day Care and Learning Center, 3900 Tchulahoma Rd., Memphis, TN
March 7, 1998: Obtained Facility 3885 Tchulahoma Rd. Memphis, TN (Old Oakhaven Baptist Church)
March, 1999: Opened The Healing Center’s Wellness and Stress Center, 3885 Tchulahoma Rd., Memphis, Tennessee 38118
March, 2001: Glorious Future Community Head Start, Domiciled at 3885 Tchulahoma Rd., Memphis, Tennessee
May, 2003: Opened The Master’s Miracle Market, 3900 Tchulahoma Rd., Memphis, TN

OBJECTIVE 1: Spread the Word of God throughout the city and region
OBJECTIVE 2: Address the counseling needs of residents throughout the Mid-South

OBJECTIVE 4: Ensure that members are informed and feel like a part of the ministry
OBJECTIVE 5: Create programs in the church to handle specific duties
